Committed to earning and keeping your trust
In a business climate often fraught with poor management, corporate fraud, a lack of both business transparency and internal controls, Incto Express takes its corporate responsibility seriously. We are committed to earning and keeping the trust of our shareholders, business partners, customers, employees, and other stakeholders
Compliance
In order to maintain being the "Trustworthy" logistics service provider to our worldwide customers, Incto Express believes that establishment and maintenance of a group compliance system is one of our highest priorities.
Unlike a product manufacturer or a carrier who operates ships and aircrafts, we are the company that is based on the day-to-day activities of our employees. We understand that our most important assets are our employees, and their knowledge and experience.
In order to maintain this trust and ensure our employees can act to the best of their abilities, our group's officers and employees act in accordance with all local and international laws and understand the significance and importance of compliance in our daily activities.
Incto Express has established a "Code of Conduct" which officers and employees of the group must comply in performing our day-to-day business activities.
We believe that compliance to this "Code of Conduct" is the first step of providing superior service and obtaining the trust of our customers.
To our suppliers
Incto Express Group ("YL Group") are fully aware of the social responsibility towards our stakeholders in which we do business. Therefore, we must comply with our own ethical standards, which is Incto Express Group Code of Conduct. In recent years, with the global issues such as violation of human rights, bribery, and acts of environmental destruction having emerged with the globalization of supply chains, it is required to address compliance activities for not only individual companies but also all associated entities in the supply chains. For this reason, we expect our suppliers, who is assigned to provide service for our customers on our behalf, to have a common understanding of business ethics standard. In line with this concept, we would like to request all suppliers to be committed to practicing the code as set forth below.
Corporate Governance

Tax Policy
The NYK Group recognizes its social responsibility to comply with the laws of all countries and to fulfill its obligation to pay taxes, and constantly strives to improve taxation compliance. In recent years, various problems have arisen with companies seeking to evade paying taxes by taking advantage of differences between corporate activities, national tax regulations and international taxation. We believe international taxation frameworks, such as the OECD's Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) project, are essential for securing taxation transparency, and we seek to comply with such international standards.
Risk Management
In recent years, due to the tightening of regulations and the increased complexity of operations, cases of corporate scandals of violating Laws and Regulations are on the rise as a result of ignoring necessary procedures and rules that should have been followed. Therefore, the importance of risk management is drawing renewed attention, and it is a matter of course that society demands that companies actively conduct risk management to actively grasp and manage risks within the organization. "The Companies Act" of Japan requires companies to establish a group-wide internal "loss risk management system" which is in other words a Risk Management Systems to ensure the appropriateness of business operations. Despite the existence of risks, and if no action is taken, the company can suffer significant losses and disrupt business continuity in the worst scenario. The Incto Express Group manages our risks by conducting group-wide “risk management program” throughout the year. It is important for each individual, department, and the company as a whole to properly manage and control the risks we face.
Business Continuity
Our business continuity plans are designed to aid early detection, prevention, appropriate post-incident management and damage minimization in the event of unforeseen situations such as war, acts of terrorism, and natural disasters. Following damage from a disaster or catastrophic event, the company will be able to maintain its important functions uninterrupted wherever possible, or if interrupted, to quickly restore them.
Information Security
The YL Group has strengthened its security measures by clearly stipulating internal information system security policy in accordance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) framework throughout the company.
Quality Management
We are committed to delivering high quality and effective services that contribute to a better future for our customers and society. Incto Express Group’s Quality Policy consists of four quality commitments – Health & Safety, Standardize Process, and Kaizen Activities – along with Management Initiatives to promote them.
Health & Safety
With concern for our employees and a focus on compliance, we ensure a safe and supportive work environment at every location, office, and facility. It’s our most important commitment.
Standardize Process
We develop processes that deliver a level of service customers can trust, no matter where they do business.
Kaizen Activities
Led by Kaizen, we’re always seeking better ways of delivering our services and improving our quality at every level of our business.
Management Initiative
Our three commitments (Health & Safety, Standardize Process, and Kaizen Activities) are driven by our corporate mission to become the world’s preferred supply chain logistics company, and by our values and behaviors under management initiatives.
Kaizen
At Incto Express, our quality management approach goes beyond lean logistics. It all begins with a Japanese concept called Gemba – visiting the very point in the operations where improvements are needed to be able to understand on-the-spot processes intimately. Next, we apply industry-proven Kaizen principles to manage and improve our processes.
But for us, Gemba and Kaizen aren’t simply management tactics. They are part of our corporate culture, at the heart of everything we do. That’s what really differentiates us from our competitors – we don’t merely apply the concepts of Gemba or Kaizen; we live them.
What does this mean for you? Improved delivery performance, improved quality, and lower operating costs, not to mention peace of mind, competitive advantage, and a boost to the bottom line.
